How It Started
Firebird DesignWorks was started in 2004, while at the same time starting Grand County Living Magazine, originally called Blueprint Magazine. Since then, we have been servicing Grand County businesses and organizations by meeting all their advertising and marketing needs. As long-term county residents since the mid-70's, we understand what it takes to have a successful company in the valley.

Tina Wilson :: Owner, Graphic Designer
Tina brings a variety of experience to Firebird, including Graphic Design, Marketing and Advertising, acquired from different jobs in the field over the past 30 years. The owner of FIrebird DesignWorks in Granby, she combines her skills offering marketing, advertising, print and web design for clients. Along with Tim Carter, they started Grand County Living Magazine in 2004. She has been involved with raising public awareness about recycling, building green, and healthy lifestyles. Tina leads a healthy, active lifestyle by bicycling, hiking, kayaking, alpine, cross country & backcountry skiing.

Lisa Bornfriend :: Graphic Designer - Print Design, Web Design & Development
Lisa moved to Colorado from Nashville, TN and has been with Firebird DesignWorks since November 2007. She has a BFA in Graphic Design and has been in the field since 2003. Lisa interned with the Nashville Predators NHL team in 2006, where she learned to be a team player and stay on top of new trends. In an effort to be on the leading edge of the design industry, she attends seminars and studies several top design magazines. Lisa enjoys her free time by hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, playing disc golf, rafting, snowboarding, and cross country skiing.

Stephanie Vidergar :: Web Design & Development
Stephanie brings to the table 12 years of online and print marketing experience. Her extensive background with HTML, search engine optimization, email marketing, and web site management and promotion, have enabled her to design, monitor, and maintain multiple commercial websites and email marketing campaigns. With a focus on small businesses and non-profit organizations, her goal is to advance budget-conscious, contemporary campaigns through effective, tasteful and targeted online and print promotions. Stephanie's "free" time is spent raising her two daughters, with an occasional day out hiking, skiing, practicing yoga, or dreaming of where she wants to travel next.

Tim Carter :: Professional Photographer
Tim has been a photographer for 25 years, and specializes now in architectural and product images. He has his own business as Carter Photographics, and is co-publisher of Grand County Living Magazine. He shoots stock photography of quality images that make up Grand County, and operates our large format printer which can produce giclée prints. Tim maintains a healthy, active lifestyle by bicycling, hiking, kayaking, alpine, cross country & backcountry skiing.
